

Born Ayernder Ngcobo on September 29, 1986, better known by his producer name Dr Quantise, is a South African music producer, recording artist, musician and music production lecturer. He is the man behind the scenes for a few of SAs most top rated house, kwaito, afro pop and gospel hits. Ayernders' music career gained momentum working as a Music Production lecturer at Creative Arts College (A Division of the South African Film Institute) and a series of collaborations with multiple established artists.
His music style and genres range from House, RnB, Hip Hop Soul, Afro, Soul, Jazz and Rock. He is a qualified Sound Engineer, a Singer, Songwriter and a multi-instrumentalist, he plays the piano and the keyboard, the drums and bass guitar.

Ayernder, son of the late Stanley Ngcobo and Thobsile Gwala, was home-schooled on and off by his mother. At the age of 9, he began playing keyboards and by the time he turned 12, he was a musical directory in his church choir.
After matriculating from Mqhawe Secondary School, he took time to hold a number of shows around KwaZulu-Natal eventually expanding his performance base to Johannesburg, Cape Town and a few other cities in South Africa. He has showcased his acts and performances with a few famous gospel and Maskandi artists as the music director on keys.
Ayernder was offered a scholarship to study music production and sound technology, which lead him to working with Mbongeni Ngema (singer and actor), Shabalala Rhythm (Mbhaqanga Group), Maqhinga (Maskandi), iSgcino (gospel group), Malcom Nhleko (music producer / sound engineer), Dust Nkosi (music producer), Mondli Ngcobo (music producer). In all these acts, Ayernder was working as a sound engineer and a music producer at United Rhythm and Maltre Studios (Durban). Ayernder was later appointed to be Shabalala Rhythms, as well as Ladysmith Black Mambazo’s local sound engineer in their local performances in South Africa.
After gaining a trusted and well known reputation for the quality of work he was delivering, Ayernder started working more creatively with radio stations, producing radio and music jingles for Durban Youth Radio (DYR), Vibe Fm Cr, Inanda Fm Cr and a few others, he also produced jingles with Njabulo Sithole for Gagasi 99.5 fm and for a show on Gagasi 99.5 which was called G express hosted by DJ Lekomotion.
